I was just wondering what kind of lowering kits there are ('02 LSE V8). How expensive are these? Do they void the factory or aftermarket warranties? Can you install them yourself?

The brands I know of are Sprint which is the lowest ride height of 1.75, then Intrax at 1.2, then Eibach at 1.1~. They should run around 200-250 dollars a set. I think the car would be protected under the Magnuson-Moss Act for the warranty unless they can prove that the springs made something fail. I wouldn't recommend installing them yourself if you're an amateur.

If you buy the Eibachs from me I will set you up with a guy locally in Knoxville that can install them at a great price. I use him for all of my suspension work. He does an excellent job. Shoot me a PM and we can can talk.

I have the EIBACH pro-kit. Dropped the car 1.75 inches.
