Does anyone know who is selling a lowering coil spring conversion kit for the mark 8

nobody, they are discontinued by AAS, you can however order the regular height springs and cut a coil off yourself with a grinder,

by the way, i own the LAST set of lowered springs.. sorry

You can use Thunderbird suspension components. They are supported by the aftermarket I used KYB struts combined with Eibach Pro Kit Lowering springs on my son's 97 LSC.

Decide how you want the back springs to be mounted, or rather how permanent of a conversion you want it to be and get Thunderbird equipment. Tokico offers 1.25" drop. Vogtland offers 0.75" drop or 1.6" drop. Eibach offers 1.5" drop. Sprint/ST/Spring Techniques-Tech offers 2" drop. As far as upper mounting brackets you can use perches cut off of the upper body of a Thunderbird and weld them to the body of the mark, they are direct fit, you could buy the upper plates from one of the mark VIII kits, you could buy those fancy perches from DLF, you could use snowflake center caps bolted onto the body, or you could make your own. Then you just need front thunderbird/cougar/mark VIII upper shock mounts, thunderbird/cougar shocks-struts, and either new mark VIII rear shocks, reuse you existing ones, or use t-bird ones with the proper mount.

danny im in the same boat as u i purchased my kyb for 165.00 and now im ike wanted to get a refund and do it the correct way!

Don't do it. You'll regret it. I do.

I bottom out all the time going up on driveways or speed bumps. Plus, if you put braces on your car, they'll scrape the road.

Just get the regular kit.

I have the last set made by AAS...i'm lowered 2 inches and I only drag one of the dual pipes because it's not quite hung right...and I drag tips very seldomly on steep driveways, you'll have to learn how to drive a dropped car for sure...oh and you'll need to hang on to that copy of your receipt for the lifetime warrantied ball joints
