I bought my Eibach's last winter, and will probably be putting them on my '06 in a couple of weeks. I've gone back and reread a lot of the threads where people have installed them, and still had a few questions regarding alignment after they're on.

1. Is it true that the car won't ever be able to be correctly aligned (the rears) due to there being no adjustment for the rears?

2. I think the majority of people put their Eibachs on without the optional Camber kit, but a few chose to get that and install it as well. Can anyone on either side chime in on whether or not it would be better for me to get the kit?

3. If Question 1 is indeed true and the car can't be fully aligned, how much does it end up affecting tire wear?

I've had the Eibachs with stock sport shocks all around for about 5 years now. The inside edge of the tires wear much quicker than the rest. I honestly am not sure if its ALL of the tires that are wearing like that or just the rear since I rotate my tires back to front. I got about 28k miles off of my last set before they needed replacement. (The inner edges got REALLY bald). So with this set, I actually took the car to my local tire shop after I put about 19k miles on the tires. HAd them remove the tires from the wheels, flip the tires over (so that the inner edge is now the outer edge) and remount, rebalance, and rotate them front to back. Cost me about $60 total. At around 40k miles on the tires I'll be due for a new set of tires anyways so...
 
When I had my alignment done they said just to make sure I rotate them regularly at 5k intervals.. Ive my tread wasn't directional, I'd have the tires flipped like LSEGUY said.

The rear suspension can be aligned, just not enough to get into factory spec after lowering. A good alignment show can get it close, but there will be some minor tire wear issues.

The camber kit can't hurt and might even help, but in my case it was unnecessary. Again, a good alignment shop with the right equipment can get your LS within factory spec without the camber kit.

As already stated by the other members, if you rotate your tires every 5k miles, you should not have any catastrophic tire wear.

I have over 50,000 miles on my LS with the Eibach springs and have not had any problems with them. Just install the springs properly, get an expert alignment and rotate your tires. You will be fine.
 
I am not lowered yet but there should not be a big difference in tire wear with a proper alignment. Some yes but quite minor. Check your Toe settings for quic wearing outer or inner edges.

I have the eibach's on my '04, and didnt get the camber kit, however, the rear's are within factory spec's, but on the high side of said spec's.
Rotate your tires more often, and that will prolong their life!
 
My rear alignment is way out of spec because of the springs, but my front alignment is within spec without the camber kit. Just follow what lseguy said and have the tires flipped on the rim when the inside starts to wear.
