I have seen some of u guys have put custom lower grills on your LS just wondering what you guys have used...I don't want the cheap mesh off ebay I would like something that I could paint to match or possibly get chromed....I can't find the trenz grill just for the lower and I don't want ot pay that much either...

I would give the ebay mesh a shot anyways. I think you'll be surprised how good it looks. I have it behind my grill and behind my bumper. I think it looks great. If you decide to buy it make sure you get aluminum, not galvanized steel. The aluminum will not rust or flake off and can be painted. If you don't like it, your out 15 bucks. No big deal.

I would like to see some pics as well...I'll give it a shot if it looks ok, but some of the other LS's had this plastic mesh (not the right word) it had circles in it just wondering if those guys ever made the grilles....

Here's what mine looks like. My camera is only 2 megapixels so the bumper doesn't show up well, but you can get the point by looking at the grill. It has a chrome look to it. If you like it I'll give you the ebay link.

Ken has a lower McLaren type grill at his web site? It looks pretty cool if you like that MClaren look. Its a direct match for the std McLaren upper grill.

You can get that stuff at a few places. I saw posts that some people have used some kind of guard for blocking leaves from clogging gutters.

The only premade to fit lower grilles that I've seen, I haven't been too fond of. They really take the classy look away from the LS. The mesh type would look nice, but you would have to cut it to size. check www.ametco.com for their wire cloth. That's the good stuff. That's also where I bought the lower mclaren grille material (perforated pvc). It was too difficult to shape, so I scrapped the project, and just painted the lower grille black.
