Okay so this weekend I personally changed the ball joint (since biggest consenses was mechanic questionalbility) using moog ball joint the question I have is about torque. Moog ball joint requires the nut be torque to 111 normally use a torque wrench not a problem but because the bolt is free spinning and requires a hex in the bottom while tightening the nut how can I ensure nut is torqued to proper specs? I have one idea but wanted to see if there was a better way?

Once you get it up in the 60 to 100 ftlbs range the stud should stop turning. If that doesn't work, then put a cheater on the wrench and pull for all you're worth.
