So I recently got a fuel pressure gauge and hooked it up to the schrader valve, and I've come up with some not so normal readings.

I get around 24-25 psi at idle with vacuum, about 31-32 psi without. Here's what I thought was weird though: when I turn the car off, the pressure slowly climbs to about 32 psi. I thought it would vent the pressure off slowly if anything, not climb.

I haven't got a chance to test the pressure under load yet, I'm waiting for the correct fittings to come in.

Would a weak fuel pump cause low fuel pressure at idle? Or should I be looking somewhere else? And any ideas on the fuel pressure rising after the car is shut off?

I'd be interested to see what it is under load...make sure you post your results I'm about to run the same test on my mark.

Fuel filter was replaced about 12k miles ago. I doubt that's the problem, but it will be getting replaced soon anyways just to be sure.
