Alright I have the Low Engine Coolant warning comming up on my screen... but I checked it's full... and the engine's running at normal temp... I did unhook it awhile ago to move the valve cover out... but I hooked it back up... is there anything that could be trippin the sensor and is there anyway to check to see if there's anything else wrong? thanks again!!

My 93 would occasionally get a low coolant alert with the same problem coolant not being low. Would the warning go away after you turned off the car and restarted it?

Keep an eye on the engine temp. If temp is staying normal and your fluid is staying up, and the warning is going off when you restart the car, then I would think it could be a sensor.

I have over 220,000 miles on my 93 and this warning would come on from time to time. Engine still runs strong and smooth...

When you say it's full, are you meaning the expansion tank (overflow tank) or at the crossover tube? Did you un/rehook a coolant hose? Sounds like air in system.

Yeah that's what I think might be it after reading a bit... sounds like there's probably air in the system... it's been about 2 months since I took the hose off... just probably took a little time to register... how do you burp the system?...

I read a little but all I could find was stuff about mustangs... there's a bleader valve near the red charge cap?... sounds kinda funny how they recommend doing it... loosin the valve... get the engine up to temp... crank the heat on high... low fan... then tighten and let sit... is this the right way?... any other suggestions?... oh yeah where is the sensor?... is it on the cap?

So yeah I was sittin here thinkin... and I realized when I took my car in to get the oil pan adapter gasket replaced they said something about having to undo the coolant hose... I remember I had to fill it when I got it back... so I called them back and asked if they could have put air into the coolant system... of course they said yeah... so they're gonna fix it for free for me tomorrow... I kinda wish they'd show me how though just in case yah know :)... but at least it's dealt with thanks for all the info... probably wouldn't have got a good diagnosis with it... though my girlfriend actually said it probably was just air since it only comes on periodically
