low coolant message

driving about 30mph and I get low coolant message , then it just goes away (temp gage is only on a ) Hit the sysem check all is good. then 5 mins later same massage ..... I wonder if its just an air pocket
I think I'll put a 12 oz bottle of watter in it before I go home.

I would pop open the filler neck and let the car run until it comes up to temp and then add the coolant as needed. You may still end up with the air pocket even if you add it and not open up the system...hope that helps.

thanks , I was helping my step son with a dodge intrapid ..... it had a bleeder valve on the thomsat housing .... made it so ez to burp it.

You have to bleed the air out. The directions are in the owners manual and on a sticker under the hood. If it gets low again after that, you are losing coolant somewhere.
