Low beam?

Hey will taking out the reflector in front of the low beam on a 96 factory hid make them any brighter? Just wondering because the high beams are so much brighter (newer HIDs).

A bit. But if they are that bad with HIDs then its the reflective material inside that is bad.

And the high beams are supposed to be brighter - they are high beams after all

The bare bulb might be more than other drivers can handle. I wouldn't.

I would just ditch the factory bulb and get a newer retrofit kit!
