So I am now looking for another mark VIII, I miss my 97 mark and wished it never got wrecked. but I'm now in the market for another one. i found one in California its a 98 for 1k but it looks like its sitting all the way in the floor. maybe compresor gave up dont know for sure. What I'm I looking at worst case? any opinions here?

Worst case is new frnt and rear bags with a compressor and a controller. That would run about a grand to fix. Thats worst case though, prolly just needs a new compressor.
You could do a coil conversion for $400ish as well.
Try to pump it up though. Listen to see if the pump kicks on.

It looks like I will be picking it up friday. Will post pics once i get it. I got someone who has a conversion for around 250 he wrecked his car so, i'm in luck but I may just put the cash into it and leave the bags. thanks for your comment thought.

when looking at a mark the only reason I will even look at the susp. is to get a better deal on the car otherwise why even car if the bags are bad its an easy fix
