I have a friend in Duluth, Minnesota area looking for a Mark VIII or V8 Thunderbird. If anyone knows of a nice, well priced one that's I probably wouldn't have found searching Craigslist/Autotrader/ect., please let me know.

What's his budget/timeframe?

If he can wait till March/April I'm willing to sell my mark for the right price - with all of the mods in tact.

I'm in the Minneapolis area from time to time and could arrange a ride back to Ames.

Your about 2 months too late.

I sold a nice Nordic blue 93 for 2k
A few pop up once and a while, the kid or I would go kick tires in the twin city area if he would drive down to buy.
Is it a gen one he is looking for?
Does he want rust free?
How much does he want to spend?

Sounds to me like he's in the $2k-2500 range.
I think rust free is important.

I'd actually like to find him a real nice one with a failed air ride system so he could get the discount price and just go to Eddie and get a coil system for it.

He's reasonably mechanically proficient, so most of the little aggravations that us Gen1 guys endure aren't a problem.

I think he sent me a that Brainerd one the other day but I'll pass it on.

Rust free is a hard find up here.
I though my 93 was rust free until I picked up this 97 that was out of FL.

Any thoughts of finding one in FL and getting it up here?

Stack will be headed down to Jamie's maybe he would drive one back?
Or have one shipped up, I am sure its worth the extra cash.
Rust free is priceless up here in the rust belt.

I'd sell my mark for 2500 with my tokico kit on it...

But if he's into wrenching he might as well go for one with deal air ride.

I'll take a look around, as I'm only an hour away from Duluth.

He's still in the market, so if anyone knows of a clean $2k Mark VIII, T-bird, or Cougar (MN12/FN10) up there, just let me know and I'll pass it on.

Doesn't care if the air ride is shot if the price reflects that problem.

I think he's monitoring the regional craigslists pretty closely, but if any of you personal or first hand knowledge of one, I'll pass it on to him.
