I was just cleaning out my K&N filter today when i noticed that I had never removed the little "silencer" int he fenderwell. I decided to stick my hand in there to see just what kind of restriction I might be looking at.

It kind of feels like it maintains its whole diameter all the way through and opens up facing into the open area behidn the bumper.

So: Remove or leave?

This car came to me with the Icebox kit already installed. It was not my decision to make when it was installed, as I did not own the car when it was done.

On my other car, I removed it while I was doing the compressor, but I'm not going to remove the fenderwell cover or bumper cover unless it is really worth it.
