Hi!

I'm looking for my first American ride in Europe and my eye keeps on Town Car, especially on 2nd generation. So far i have read that rear axle has air suspension, is it right and do all 2nd gen TCs have it ? Secondly where i can buy spare parts for this vehicle in Europe or if not, than in USA ? And if someone could be so kind and name the main problems that might come up with this car.

Thanks

So your thinking 1990-1997 I would recommend 95-97
If so most not all have rear air springs.
Problems
Air springs get old along with air pump
Trunk pull downs go bad
Window motors go bad sometimes
96-97 need intake upgrade
Keep good fluid in transmission at all times
If it has automatic climate control the actual controller on the firewall can go bad
That's all I can think of now besides normal wear items.
Most parts can be had at rockauto.com
I sold my 93 town car at 282,000 miles
My 95 I still have at 250,000 miles but it is rusting away.
