I think it's interesting how I got back to the States from Germany, one of the songs stuck in my head (lots, still don't hurt) was "Major Tom, Reprise" from the German musician Peter Schilling. I had that in Germany on vinyl, name of the album was "Error in the Machine".
So imagine my surprise when I heard that piece (performed by Shiny Happy Toys) in a fairly recent Lincoln ad for the MKZ. Here's the clip of the band doing that piece with the ad being splashed to the background. Enjoy. :)

So where do we go with this thread? Music we listen to while driving our Marks?

I crank this one a lot, as well as Johnny Cash and Cranberries.

Awesome!

Also jammin Al King's "I'll Play the Blues for You", gonna get this, thanks!
Haven't even listened to Cage the Elephant yet, so much awesome music out there!

And for anybody wondering about "Major Tom" in the Lincoln ad, check back to when you were a kid and David Bowie put out "Space Oddity". Here's a lovely version of it from Happy Rhodes (yes that's her real name, no she's not a tranny. Her voice has a range of 4 octaves, and YES, I play this in my Mark). :D

Enjoy, as always.
