I recently ordered the sports bumper for my 03 LS and was wanting to change the fog lights and headlights to HID with angel eyes . could anyone please share any ideas abt what would work? for example:
what K HID lights are legal and what brands are good for the LS?
what brand angel eyes and size of the rings work best with the LS ?
all input would be greatly appreciated....thanks guys

Didnt feel like searching, huh? Just messin

Gen 2 usually uses umnitza led angel eyes. Legal hid temps depends on your state of residence. Most can use 6000k with no problems from the law. Some peolle use ddm, some xentec, and there are other brands too. i personally use xentec for all four of my kits.

Not a completely accurate reply. There are no legal aftermarket low (or high) beam headlight kits to convert halogen to HID. The main problem is the reflector. The only legal conversion is to replace the halogen headlight assemblies with factory HID assemblies. If you already have factory HIDs and are just changing the color of the bulb, then the above advice is certainly true.

Now, it certainly does depend on where you are as to if you would ever get ticketed for it. Certainly around here the police don't seem to care at all how badly aftermarket HIDs are blinding people.

What Joe said about the legality. Do some searching and you'll find a boat load of information.

Personally, I am more than satisfied with my Morimoto 3Five kits from theretrofitsource.com. I've been running these in my hi-beam and fogs for a year now with no issues. All are 6000k and are still running like a champ a year later. I haven't poked my head under their though to see what the ballast cases look like. Check my thread in my sig would be a place to start searching as well.
