guys, all i keep seeing is that these lowering springs from lskoncepts or any in general are really beneficial.

1. by putting these on, what should i expect to feel?

2. how much would it cost to put those on?

I did it mainly for looks. My car looked like a 4x4 when I first got it. I don't feel like it greatly improved handling or anything. Then again where I live, you're not driving fast unless you want to keep replacing wheels from potholes.

there is a very good increase in performance when coupled with some good tires. My g-forces have really stiff sidewalls for 245-45-17's. For $245 shipped from TireRack its a no-brainer (install them yourself). The look is really nice. Subtle. It takes a while for the front to settle all the way. Its very driveable though. Hitting bumps while cornering hard is much harsher, but under normal conditions you'll be hard pressed to notice a difference. Proceed with caution over speed bumps, you'll have to crawl, sometimes at a 45 angle.
While your under there, you should replace shocks if you have over 75k on the clock.
Also, replace your sway bar end links (buy them ahead of time as your odds of destroying them taking them out are high). You need to do this to drop the control arm down enough.
Theres plenty of detailed threads on installation if you search.

The ride will be firm but not overly firm. With the car being lowered you'll lower the center of gravity which will allow better handling. You should expect to pay around $200 for the install including an alignment. Lincoln recommends that you replace your shocks every 50,000 miles so if your car is around that mileage then you might want to consider that as well.

I asked the same question before I purchased them. I also did it mainly for looks, also knowing that even an inch, to 1 1/2" lower, will change the CG noticeably. I had run a particular at over 100mph, and was wondering how much better it could get....my advice to you is BUY THEM!!!!!!!!!!

I had a friend help me, and it took only 2 1/2 hours.
Get a good set of spring compressors.

Ive put lowering spring on all 3 of my LS's

loosen the top bolts under the hood on the shock tower and slowly lift the car with a jack. Once you are all the way up, loose the lower shock tower bolt and remove the entire assembly.

Next put the lowering spring on the shock and reverse the process, no spring compressors needed.

You are a brave man 02...and I know you know your LS's, so I will only say this.
I personally wouldnt do it that way. Much safer with spring compressors

This is dangerous It can be done but would not recommend for someone that's not experience
