For Sale Lincoln LS AM/FM CD-6 Head Unit - $75

For sale today is this Lincoln CD-6 AM/FM Stereo Head Unit. This was removed from my 2002 Lincoln LS. It was working perfectly but now will not load a CD. It did play perfectly when I had a single CD in SLOT 1 but once I ejected it, the issue began. It's a simple fix for someone with electronic repair skills. It is in remarkably good condition as seen in the photo. I can see nothing wrong with it from a visual inspection through the slot.

Ford part number 2W4T-18C815-XX. Once fixed, this would sell for upwards of $150. Yours today for just $75 and I'll ship for just $5. I accept PayPal.

This model also fits several model year Thunderbirds. If your unit has the SAME EXACT buttons and MARKINGS, it should be a direct fit. This is not compatible with Alpine or SoundMARK labeled systems.

So I was compelled to find out why this CD-6 did not want to play and I have. Inside the unit there are two small springs that hold the top metal guide plate and six plastic trays together. One of those springs broke. The other is fine but neither is now attached. Other than that, this CD-6 is fine. If you have the skills, you can have this working again in no time. Given this, I am selling this 'as is, for parts'.

First $50 get's it with $8 shipping. Hell, the Front Control Panel is worth $50.
