Lincoln ls 2000 interior rear view mirror

Is it possible to remove only the mirror but not the pivoting arm?

Edit:
The E/C Mirror was leaking some kind of chemical so I kind of had to rip it off lol..
Pryed the seam and the mirror broke coming off but found the bolt hidden behind

Just so the next person doesn't needlessly break things...

Removal

1. Disconnect the interior rear view mirror electrical connector.

1. Remove the interior rear view mirror cover.

1. Place the interior rear view mirror in the full DOWN position. Pull upward until released.

Installation

1. Place the interior rear view mirror on the windshield bracket. Using the special tool, press the mirror in place until fully seated.

• 

1. Install the interior rear view mirror cover.

1. Connect the interior rear view mirror electrical connector.
