i purchased a set from mr custom in chicago. i have not installed them yet ... i'll post pics when i do

I got those and they seem to be the older style, and not really what I wanted. I want to replace the puddle lamp in the mirror of my 97 Mark VIII with them. I got some that say "Ford" that another seller accidentally sent me, and they didn't have the Lincoln gel for the newer style. I then got the Lincoln ones, and I think they will be too defused and too big at the distance the mirror is off the ground (about 34 inches I think).

I plan on either using them in the footwells, or possible under the hood or under the rear bumper with the backup lights.

This is about what they would look like if I cut a hole in the bottom of the door panel and mounted them, which I am not going to do:

This is how big the Ford one is at 34 inches, it isn't this blurry, it was just tough to dangle in one hand, and take a picture in the dark in the other.
