I just purchased LEDs for my license plate. They are the right type, but they will only light when halfway in. If they are all the way in they won't light. I'm thinking that the leads on the LED base are too small. Do you think adding wire will hurt anything? Or adding solder to beef up the base to make connection? BTW, if you order from superbrightleds, DO NOT use their bulb finder for vehicles. Half of their interior bulbs are hosed up for Gen I LS. I emailed them about their misprints. They have 168 bulbs as map and dome, when they are suppose to be 1.25" festoons. Thanks for the replies.
