Is there one? I ordered a driver side LH hub and got a RH instead. Can I still use it? The hubs just have a LH and RH sticker on them. I know it has something to do with ABS as well so I dont want it to be spinning the wrong way. Am I mising something here? Thanks.

I just checked Team Ford Parts, and they show only one part for the '00-'02 Front Hub and Bearing, so I'd guess there's no difference between left and right.

Thanks SoonerLS, I just checked there too but there is a RH and LH sticker on the back of the hub that concerns me. I have to call a dealer tomorrow AM to verify there is no part difference.

I called "02v8sport" and explaned this and I am posting it for others to see.

Ford parts catalog shows only one part number for the hub/brg assy. in this particular application the antilock sensor is ok with being on the right or left. The hub is bolted so it gets installed one way and will work....according to Ford motor company.

Just for everyones reference, the LH and RH front hubs are interchangeable at least for the newer LS's. I just finished putting mine in and works great!!

Also for the older ls's they are interchangeable.

Ordered a LH side, part came RH. Called and asked - Ford says only that part is available.

Mechanically it works fine. But it may have screwed up my ABS, as it's reading 'backwards' or maybe my ABS ring is smoked due to the failed wheel bearing.

The last time I looked at an ABS ring, it looked pretty non-directional to me--it's just a set of magnets in a metallic ring. Then again, I don't recall looking at the ABS rings on either of my LSes, so I can't swear that it's true for the LS.
