Specifically a PD setup like a KB or Eaton. I am trying to get ideas for my intake pipe and want to see what others have done. Dont know if I can just reuse the Marks pipe or if I have to modify a Cobras or if maybe I can get a C&L or Anderson pipe to work. I would like an aftermarket setup but that may be out of budget.

Here is an eaton with a 04 cobra intake tube

Damn how the motor looks different now from back then

Well poopies. That KB blown two tone Mark does not have a hood and it looks like its because the dangded blower wont clear. :( That worries me.

Phreaky, that car looks like pure sex mang! So I see the IAC is no longer in its stock location. Where is it or did you tune around it?

My KB was also on B-series heads. It fit under the hood, you can see in the vortech pic where I modified the hood to clear the KB. I also modified a PowerPipe that was designed for a 03-04 Cobra.

I guess I can let the 'secret' out. I did an EGR delete and I made an adapter to bolt a 99-04 mustang gt IAC to the old EGR port on the back of the blower, extended the wires, and ran a hose post MAF, pre throtle body to the intake port of the IAC, put in threaded studs, modified the IAC a little for fitment and RTV that sucker just in case. Its sorta ugly thats why I haven't taken any pictures of it. once I find someone that can do some simple CNC work I'll have something milled out prettier. I may do it by hand, just ALOT of work, I have about 10 prototypes that all are junk and the one I have barely fits.

Sweet Mercury! Thats exactly what I needed to see. Could you PM me all the little stuff you needed for the KB? Ill have the blower and brackets and belt and IAC and Cobra fuel rails but need to know what vac lines and adapter fittings are used so that when we start on it I dont have to stop and drive 15 miles out to the parts store.

I have to order the larger pully from KB cause he only has the 12lb one and I only want 6-7psi. I figure I will order the oil feed plugs too since it has fittings on it for an external oiling system but has caps over the fittings. Looks ghetto.

thats lcs8's car maybe you should hit him up, he said it wont fit cuz of the throttle cable bracket and was working on something

Well, You didn't say if you have the KB throttle cable of not.- You will need that. It's the throttle cable that came with the KB kit originally. BELIEVE me there is a difference between a stock 96-98 Cobra throttle cable and a KB throttle cable.

If you eliminate the EGR you can use that port for the vaccum brake booster.

Also there should be a vaccum port AFTER the blower, located at the front left corner. That port is where you get the boost reference from for your fuel pressure regulator, Bypass valve, and boost gauge.

The three ports BEFORE the blower AFTER the throttle body you can use for anything that need to ONLY see vaccum. Like your, PCV, HVAC vaccum line, ect.

Also a tip that is not in the KB book is this....

As many of you know the KB kit is NOT INTERCOOLED. What you can do to keep your tune safe is tap the intake (near the boost reference port) for your IAT sensor. That way your IAT sensor is reading the Intake air temp AFTER the blower. That way your tuner can setup your IAT timing tables correctly. That way if you come across a hot day your Timing will adjust accordingly.

Excellent info! Thanks! Yes he is also sending the KB throttle cable. So if I keep the EGR then where can I tap for the booster or will it just be better to not use it and cap off the line? I assume in the tune he can turn off the EGR MIL?
Here is some

Thanks! I notice yours has a different throttle cable mount and the alt is turned around as well as a different crossover tube. Whats up with that?

@bill-
whats up man wow thats all i can say and as i asked you before i want to copy this vehichle to the t o ya hows the supercharger coming along? and if thats ok pm some refernces on where to start i desided to keep the white one and just fix it due to my new born and being a waiter fulltime.

Yeah, just get rid of the EGR. Your tuner can shut it off in the tune.

Also if you still have IMRCs you should Delete them. On a boosted car they say gains of 10-15hp by Deleting them.

Crap, something else to buy. So many times I knew guys that offered to just give me their delete kits and I declined. Never thought I would need them but then again the thought of a blower was just that, a thought. Never really expected to get one.

So what fittings were needed to hook the vac to the EGR port? Any reducers needed to go from the intake to the rest of the vac lines?
Also just found out he dont have a spare fuel rail so now I have to hunt for a Cobra rail. Almost bought a 03 rail for $10 before i remembered they dont have a FPR on them.

Clearance wise the Gen 2 already had a nice bubble for an SC that obviously never happened.

If you have an issue at all I would suspect it being the back webbing.

See the SuperMark's webbing has been "notched" thats the only thing I could see giving you trouble?

It's TB is mounted that way, and the cable mount came from KB, as well as the bracket to turn the alternator around. This is the tuner kit for 1999 and up and also has the liquid inter cooler. There is also a set of idle rollers just below the SC snout that pinch the belt inward for additional tension to prevent slippage (wraps the pulley to almost 270 degrees of contact). This in conjunction with the steel belt tensioner has eliminated any kind of slippage.
