so I have some extra leather laying around and there you go. Leather dash trim instead of cheap fake looking wood. matches the shifter boot arm rest and e-brake boot.

Going to do the rest of the wood on the doors soon.

Nice work, but I agree on the color. Should have matched either the steering wheel color or the seat color to look right.

Telco it will match the seat color when I get to those :) neiliato chill out dude if you are bent out a shape I made fun of you government bail out on wheels then you shouldn't have bought it, by the way it's my thread, troll on the Chrysler section of the site, oh wait this is lincoln vs cadillac, not Chrysler vs other after thought brands

It looks ok, but by not having an OEM sheen it looks out of place with the rest of the interior.

Maybe if you had used a thinner material it wouldn't look like a cushion...

Sorry, bud, but you posted the pictures on a public forum. Sorry that it's ugly. Thankfully, everyone is allowed to have an opinion. Unfortunately for you, mine doesn't match yours.

I think it would look great on a black interior but it's ok looking in my eyes. Hey maybe it looks better in person. We'll figure that out this weekend :). At least someone's thinking outside the box. Forgot that you did with a shifter boot as opposed to what it was. I was going to ask where your clutch pedal was lol.

How's the Jag motor (XKR 5.0?) swap coming?

Just don't attempt to retrofit the ST-R suspension onto your LS. It's not the best in corners:

no no, I am going to try and get the coilovers if we get all the camber issues under-control.

And it will begin once I get a new daily and my own house. so hopefully start taking place in the next 12-24 months. I mean do not expect to see this happen in the next month. But trust it will unless something terrible happens to where the car can not be repaired

I'd love to see it done in the dark color on the dash... like the shift boot too...I've been looking for one...may have you make me one instead....wink wink

absolutely, I need dark leather for the seats, two tone. and i have the template still for the boot. I will get some pics of leather options i can get. Now i will say this, you have to get creative mounting it as there is really no good way to do it other than upholstery staples into the plastic, I uses a bit of super glue around the base.

Lmao at the video. The look on the passengers face

I loved how the passenger turned to the driver as soon as he saw he wasn't picking the line and was like "Ohh no, you aren't going to make it" and then started bracing himself. LOL! Then at the end he was asking the driver "You OK man? You ok man?" like "WTF were you thinking?!?!?"

Awesome. :)

awesome..I'll be waiting (cash in hand)... I'd say that dark brown/green on the dash or a very dark grey... My wife has a book with 50 shades in it i guess... She spends alot of time looking at them, i dont know why....whats so interesting about the color grey ?!?!?

ah your lady reading that too huh.... Jen just finished the second book.

I will find something you like and I can use on the seats, I don't want to buy a whole yard for one shifter. Although its not that expensive. I can buy the whole yard of "your" color if you want the other stuff too, center consul and e-brake boot.

You did a really good install job with the leather. Looks really good. Id have to see it in person to judge the colors but if you like it thats all that matters. Dont listen to all these haters :p

I like the color of the leather, it reminds me of the color of leather used on higher ends cars. It specifically reminds me of ferrari's having that or similar color leather, its just that with his color of interior, the color leather doesn't look right.
