probably a first gen.... and I know its bigger but for some reason i thought it was even bigger than 3.5, but that could be right

I remember it was flared at the end where it meets up with the MAF housing.

yeah you can get an aluminum adapter for it at Pepboys or AZ for like 20 bucks.
