Keyless entry remote- change battery question

hey guys, dunno if this is a noob question or not, but has anybody ever changed their own batteries on their remotes? i have the square one and i dun wanna go wasting money at a dealership for something that could possibly be done on my own. i got the square remote which looks like it can be pried open but its the only one i have so i don't want to break it. if anybody has any knowledge on this your help would be appreciated. thank you.

carefully pry it apart. its just clipped together.

it has 2 CR2016 batteries
