Hello all Happy New Year,
I took my car down to an alarm dealer to install a remote start for my car. He was using a key bypass kit(http://ifar.ca/en/products/key_bypass_kits/key-override-sl2/). With a bypass module a key under the dash is NOT requred. He tried all kinds of thing but could not get the module and the car to "talk". He could not add the module as a 3rd "key". The process for programming the module is the same as adding additional key. As anyone had sucess with using a key by pass module like this one?

yes, your car needs two keys to program the third. You need to cycle your keys in the ignition as follows all the way from off to on: key1, key2, and key3 that this bypass module will learn the keycode from.

02V8Sport thanks for replying,
I do have 2 keys. We cycled key1, key2 and waited for the bypass module to learn/create a 3rd "key" for itself.
Or are you saying that a we must have a 3rd key for the module to pick up/learn a PATS code? I.E. key1,key2,key3, module picks up/learns/uses the pats code from key 3?
All help appriciated.
