Hey guys. Just received a Kenwood KNA G510 (thanks again joshluvsla) and had a quick question for whoever can answer.

I'm installing this tonight, and have a wiring question. There are 4 wires:

Black - ground
Red - ignition
Yellow - battery
Green - parking brake

I'm assuming I can just use t-taps and splice into all the wiring coming from the head unit. I'd have to use 2 taps on the ground wire for both the nav. ground and the parking brake. The others I'm assuming have their own respective wires to tap into.

Just wondering if this is a correct way to do this. I know there are probably better ways, but I'd like to keep it simple. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's a link to the install guide for the g510:

Oh, and the head unit i'm mating it up to is a Kenwood Excelon DDX 7015.

Thanks for nothin LVC... :p

I tried it out, crossed my fingers, and... worked just fine! Figured it would, just wanted to be sure.

I'm gonna get into an accident... I keep messing with it while i'm driving! I don't have an ipod, so we'll see how that works once i buy one. Did you ever upload custom POI's to it? I cleared everything right when i got it, so i don't know what was stored...
