Does anyone else have this CAI or the normal black ABS plastic type one? Just wondering your thoughts and opinions about either, the typhoon intake is like $20 cheaper on LSKoncepts so Im opting for that one. Thanks for any input!

The 57 series kit is CARB certified so that is the biggest difference. That means that if you live in an area that requires emission tests the 57 Series comes with a decal stating that it is certified. The Typhoon kit does not have this certification.

Also, the 57 series kit has an Estimated Horsepower Gain: 15.69 HP @ 6000 RPM. The Typhoon kit has an Estimated Horsepower Gain: 14.3 HP @ 4500 RPM. These numbers are from K&N's testing.
