I just bought a cone air filetr off ebay from K&n its came with the filter the MAF adapter and a bracket but dont know how to set it up does anyone have the instructions on this thing or a step by step guide on what to do and what is a MAF

MAF is a Mass Air-Flow sensor, it's the cylindrical thing bolted onto the air-box
These are the instructions I received w/my KKM:

Remove the negative battery cable before install. It clears the EEC memory so it can learn the requirements for the new intake.

Removing stock airbox:
Loosen the hose clamp on the intake tube and un-plug the MAF sensor connector. remove top part of airbox. Remove mounting bolt of lower airbox.(located on the wheel well) then pull up gently rocking the lower part of box side to side. Unbolt the MAF from the top of airbox.

Installing new filter:
1) Mount filter to the adapter
2) Mount the adapter to the MAF with the cork seal in between them. leave the bolt with the support bracket loose for now(Top left bolt)
3)Slide MAF into the intake tube and rotate to desired position
4)Line up support bracket with mounting hole on wheel well install using original bolt
5)Tighten hose clamp and bolts on the MAF
6)Make sure there is clearance on your system
7)Plug the MAF sensor connector back in, re-connect battery cable
8)Test it out

I hope you find this info useful
