Ok, so this weekend I will officially be swapping exhaust from the 93 to the black 97. I will also try to install the new door hinges & door handle on the 93's driver's side. I'm not selling the car until I fix those 2 issues.

I've been driving my black 97 daily for work. Avg. 100 - 160 miles p/day. I still get the "Gear Display Data Error" on my 97 after swapping the MLPS but she runs strong & so smooth. Every so often at 65-70 mph there's a strong grinding that I know comes from the tranny but under normal use the tranny shifts smooth & perfect. I need to swap the tranny's oil pan gasket which is leaking onto my exhaust at high speeds, other than that, the car will not get painted for a few months. I have other financial priorities so it will stay as is for now.

In comparison, the 97 drives so much tighter than the 93, it feels much better (granted the suspension is stock height on the 97) but I admit, the 93 is sooooooo much faster. However you simply can't argue that the 97 feels that much newer since it has 46k miles less than the 93. I will miss my 93 & a part of me will regret it, that I know but I cannot keep all 3 cars. I will miss the aggressive look of the 1st Gen's front end. Especially in black & even more so after I installed the LSC housings.

I'm selling the car with the following(including newly installed items):

DXR wheels,
Drilled/slotted rotors,
Ceramic brakes,
Custom 2 toned CobraStar interior,
Eibach Springs (lowered suspension)
'99 Cobra water pump
New alternator (installed last month)
New spark plugs (installed last month)
New MSD ignition wires (installed last month)
New Upper control arms (installed last month)
New Lower control arms (installed last month)
New strut rud bushings (installed last month)
Stock exhaust from the '97
Stock headlamp housings (HID headlamps are NOT for sale)
Rebuilt tranny just one year ago (Only 5k in the last year)

The car needs:

Rear trunk trim
Sway bar bushings
Passenger side window won't go down
Moldings should get replaced or repainted

I think eventually I will own another 1st Gen. I will never get over the sale of my 94 SVT-Bird replica & the same goes for this 93 Mark VIII. If anyone's interested, shoot me an offer via PM. I have not thought about a price as of yet. In fact I haven't thought about a price at all at this point. Amuse me & you very well may take the car! I'd love to see it go to someone that knows about these cars.

Below are some threads with pictures of my 93 for reference.
