just recieved the 03 headlights and i really need to know what i need to do to install these headlights. I read the posts and every ones has different ways and would love it if some one could help me out. i don't know what to order next. Do i need the headlight mount panel, the 03 headlight harness w/o hid, will the same bolts work and if so how do i connect the harness w/o hid to the 02 harness. I really want to finish this before i get married in march.

I do know you need the 03+ panel but I would think your pre03 harness would work...but I have not done this myself so maybe someone that has done it will chime in
You will have to order a mounting the headlight mounting panel. (im in the process of getting one myself). As for the headlights. I imagine its the same wireing as the HID. With the HIDS I took the Hi-Beam cover off so I could get to the connector plug. I unplugged it from the back and you will have to cut the wires at the plug of the 03+ light.
You take the wiring harness from the pre 03 lights the one with the 3 plugs for Hi,Low, and signal (mark them while you take them off so you know what is what). Cut the Hi off and run it through a hole.(hole that I made to run the wires through the headlight backing. I made the hole right above the connector.) Anyways feed the wires through the hole and soldier them to the 03+ headlight wires. You have enough room with the HI-Beam cover off. Then do the LOW.
Pretty much straight forward the Black wires are for GROUND and the thin red wire is for the LED light. I spliced my turn signal wire to hook that up. After thats all done. Get some silicone and cake up the hole really good so no moister gets in. There are some threads on her with pictures but nothing that really breaks it down. Once you start though its pretty much straight forward.

I had one quite some time ago and sold it. You should be able to pick that panel up for around $130 or so. It isn't terribly expensive.
trying to convice the wife. Got a three day weekend and would like to finish it this week end.These are the pics the one with the black taped up wires going to the top of the plugs is what i was talking about before. The harness laying in front of the light is the old harness we are wiring to the 03+.
those headlight look tight @ss hell love the way they look. sleek and sexy.
going to try to find a wreaked 03 ls so i can get the wire harness off of it and try to find a mount bar. ls monk please post pics when u finish. for every body in lvc i will try to take pics of the install and post the how to in detail when i start. ca lottery is 267 millon going to try to hit it if so there will be many lincoln ls products.
