I was at a car show in town today and one of the local dealerships was selling all kinds of stuff real cheap. I got the ring pinion and bearing for $15

Lol.... a big one... but it would have to be given to you by a cop riding a pink pony cause it aint gonna happen.

Doesn't sound like you'll be setting up gears yourself, so find someone local who does it and talk to them. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

the traction control works off the abs it makes the brake on the wheel thats spinning and kick the other one in its like if you jack up the rear and the right tire is spinning and you grab it the other will start and vise versa. there is nothing inside the diff butt a ring pinion spider gears and shims and bearings no weird clutches or any thing youll need crush washer for the pinion and to set the backlash at like .008-.015. and the torque is 70-85 on the carrier bolts i believe the preload is like 14 inlbs on the pinion dont quote that though its easy stuff and will work if you have the right tools to measure such stuff but if you dont leave it alone because you cannot eyeball this stuff and the bicep popping out torque method wont work here this is very tight tolerance stuff. but anyone with the right tools can do it.:wrench :wrench :wrench and if it sounds like too much for you just mail em to me and ill put them in mine thats my next upgrade

if i get trac lok iam i able to use the standard install kit, or do i need special bearings

Same kit. Nothing special between the standard open carrier and the trac lok(limited slip) carrier. Like I said because of the IRS there are side beaings and seals that a solid axle car does not have but it's not a necessity tochange them if they are fine but personally I would since it will be apart anyway.

The traction control will work as before. Not an issue

Yup.
