This is in no way posted in against any LS owner.

I'm just curious, are any of the LS membership interested in attending LvC Meets, and getting into the other side of LvC. The fun of enjoying our cars getting to know the people who you are posting with, and just having some good old fun?

I know distance is an issue in many cases, still get members from all over the US attending the meets but all seem to be Mark VIII owners and one or 2 Conti or T/C owners.

I'd love to see some LSs at the meets and get to know the members of this forum of LvC.

So far the only LS owners to attend a meet are FreeFaller and 02LSE....... oh and Joey and Jibit as they used a LS rental when they went to Geno's meet in NJ.

Granted the Boscobel Beach Party is not until July but I know for myself if I want to plan a trip I need a few months of put it on a schedule and then put away the cash for the trip.

So, what's up LS members.... what's your input on coming to meets?

You are more than welcome.

I have a tough time traveling distances with a 5 month old at home, but my local club would welcome the attendence of any LVC'ers who are close and willing to come to them. I'm the only luxury ride in the club right now, i'd like to see some competition ;)

By the way, we are going Off Roading in Mansfield OH, this weekend if anyone has a Froader and wants to join in the mudslinging. I can post the link if anyone is interested, spectators welcome too.

I greatly understand and respect reasons for not being able to attend meets. For some it's just not their interest, and I know the distance is always an issue. It's an issue with myself also but I do try to get to the meets that are within 6 hours of driving.

I just believe that with the large amount of traffic in the LS forum that there has to be some LS members who would like to start participating in the fun of the LvC meets.

I look at LvC as more than a great site for car enthusiasists but a family of friends who share a common interest and our meets are so much fun.

I've got a ton of activities planned for the July Beach Party (granted it's not really a beach party but anyway) and I believe it will be a lot of fun for all. It's not just a car and drinking bash. Families are welcome, and in the future I am planning to hold this meet at a more family oriented place. Right now my home is the cheapest way we can do the meet for everyone.

If I can start getting 50 or more members attending I could hold this at places in the are where the fun would be even greater.

I personally would like to see more LS members attending the meets. You seem to have a bunch of fun people in this forum and I'd love to get to know you all.

Distance isn't an issue for me. I've driven 1500 miles round-trip to Commerce. GA for the SSHS events the last two years. And that's for pretty much one full day in GA. It's time and money that are the issue.

Besides, there's too many hot chicks walking around these parts in July for me to leave :D

I would love to go to one of these meets. The Mark series is actually what made me fall in love with Lincoln. But, I don't think I can do Wisconsin. Drink a few Leinies for me!:D

Hey I don't care what the reason are I'm just curious.. but want to draw interest in more members coming. My goal is to get 100 members at the beach party. I do have a car club of exotic cars coming and there should also be some guys with classic American muscle, plus some hot rods.

But I really would like to see more LS members.. as the Mark VIII has taken over the Mark VIIs the LSs will be taking over the Mark VIIIs, followed by the future. Keeping LvC Alive.

Are there even any LvC or LS shows/meetings in cali? im half way between LA and San Francisco Bay area.??
That would be the Western States Chapter area.

I have been dying to meet some of you crazy fools. I think it would be a great weekend. But time and distance is the thing. If there was a meet dead in the middle of the US.... say... i dont know st. louis. I would be up for hosting and insuring a good time. once i get the LS to its top potential I will definatly attend.
Seriously since i joined this forum and got to know all the members Ive always wanted to meet them all. Thats one reason I always bring the picture thread back up(feel like you know someone better if u see em)

I've always wanted a St. Louis Meet.. and I agree central.. The reason for the Boscobel Meet is last year while in chat members wanted something to do. Because I'm a teacher and have the summer off I have time to work on the event. The guys in chat said if I planned it they would come.

They came from as far east as NJ and west at AZ... Most members were not from the WI.

If I lived in St. Louis we'd have one hell of a central meet. But I'm 6 hours north of St. Louis and I do have access to a ton of resources for us to do. I have friends who own theme parks in the Wisconsin Dells area (in the words of Frogman do a search on the Wisconsin Dells area) I could get us in real cheap. But again it's in Wisconsin. My resources are here so I can only plan for it in this area. Also this is one beautiful area of Wisconsin with lots to offer everyone. (Well except Conti94 who has troubles leaving the excitement of the traffic of Chicago.)

About 3 years ago a group from the NW wanted a meet in WI. I had a great plan for a Labor Day meet in Madison Wisconsin with media coverage and activities that would keep us going all weekend.

I can get things done and I know how to get them done affordable those coming from a distance but again I'm limited to Wisconsin.

I want a large National LvC Meet that meets every year. I even thought about a revolving meet that would move about the US but that takes a lot of co-ordination and work. Again I have all summer to work on these things and don't mind doing it. But my resources are in WI.

Those who came to the Beach Party last year told me to do it again this year. I know it doesn't take much traveling for me but I look at it as I'm the one setting it up and doing the leg work.

I know many of you can not make the Boscobel meet due to distance, commitments, and cost. But I want all who would like to attend to feel welcome. I promise one hell of a great time and a warm welcome feeling for all.

One think I would like to see and appreciate if someone local LS owners from... MO, MI, IA, IL, MN, IN, OH, and (Damn WI LS owners, it's not that far for you) to attend and have some LvC fun with us.

Its the distance for me. I looked it up. Its about 1200 miles to Boscobel. Furthest I would be able to travel is about 3 to 4 hrs. Would be interested in meeting some members in Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Southeast Ga., Tallahassee, Gainesville (Go Gators), Brunswick, Valdosta (they sometimes have Nopi there). If anyone is interested in meeting up, email me at decibels5@yahoo.com WickedLs set up some meets in Tampa, but it seemed like something came up for me everytime he scheduled one.

Saving my flight money for Las Vegas. Going on Memorial Day Weekend. Besides the wife wouldnt approve unless she went. Most importantly I wouldnt be there with my Baby(my ls).
