My old subwoofers blew out, so I replaced them with these. I'll let you know how they sound. They're Infiniti Kappa Perfect 10.1's.

I just got mine a bit back from Crutchfield too, couldnt beat the price. They sound awesome too!! I have 700 watts RMS running to them both and they hit VERY hard.

700 watts to each sub or all together? I have a 900watt Rockford Fosgate amp already.

I have aluminum cone Kappa 12s I bought 5 years ago in my wife's car with 600W RMS. 2 amps later they hit hars as hell to this day.

thats funny that you guys are talking about this speaker I just bought a PPI DX 124 thats putting out 1000 rms to replace my two 10.1 kappas.... those suckers are really good speakers. like they said they run 350 rms but this new one i got takes less space and is loud!

I blew my 12" kicker L7 and replaced it with two 12" Alpine Type-R's 500 RMS each wired to my kicker amp pushing 950 rms to both. They pound like no other. I put them in a ported box and now changing it to sealed because i want cleaner bass this is just way too loud. Getting a custom sealed box installed tomorrow. Hopefully it'll help :D

I had a Kappa Perfect 12 a few years ago (2000 I believe). I was running it with an Alpine V12 amp (still have that one) pushing ~400rms/800peak. I had it for about 2 years. It was a great speaker.... ended up blowing it somehow. I was sad but replaced it with my Alpine Type R 12. Now I'm happy driving my LS with a little bump in the trunk. Always been a fan of sealed enclosures.

Just put them in. They sound pretty good, still need to be broken in. Inside the car it sounds good, but I hear small vibrations if I'm at the rear of the car with the trunk open. I guess it's the breaking in or park of the amp casing.

I just upgraded from 2 12' JL w3v2 to the new w3v3 cuz i blew the old ones and bought all new amps. i am running a JL 1000/1 mono block amp to subs, and i have a six channel running all my speakers that i also had replaced with jl speakers... let me tell ya my ear stay ringing when i get out the car, people hear me comming from far away
