This was an on-board cleaning. You can research the different ways to do this but Ill describe what they did and it's generally the 'preferred way' and used often when doing tune-ups.

Disconnect the relay for the fuel pump. Disconnect the fuel from the fuel rail. Plug into the fuel rail a cannister that attatches to a compressor and feeds SeaFoam (entire bottle) with a mixture of something ( might be fuel didn't ask ) like gas. ( the entire mixture is enough for the car to run for about 10 minutes. )

--let run till it dies.

Also, found out in the process that my right header has a fairly bad leak. Knew there was one somewhere but didn't expect it to be where the header meets the engine.

There is a significant amount of improvement in the engine. Worth every penny.
