Im gonna search right now for the location of the fan fuse but if someone posts it up here for me that would be great. I know its been brought up before. Im.Fucking.Excited.
 
Just ran through the manuals in the Tech Articles didnt see a fuse or relay for the fans... :confused: Help! I wanna get this mofo loaded up.
 
there might be better people to ask but your good enough for now, can you have different shift pressures in the same tune, for ex: can you have it shift close to normal under light acceleration and have it kick like a mule when WOT?
 
IIRC... yes. There are different settings for normal shift pressure and WOT shift pressure.
 
Hey missing linc - what did torrie say about modifying the tune for the converter?

Im waiting for a response right now regarding this. I told him it was the same trans and converter for S197's. Part throttle seems different now tho, doesnt slip and lock like it used to.
 
Got rid of that stupid rev limiter in neutral as well, she doesnt free rev like most cars, seems like there is still some sort of limiting factor about it. Oh well, 6K is nice and loud hahaha, my cell phone sucks d!ck at recording tho.
 
No one has been able to remove the neutral/park rev limiter on the 2nd gen LS.

You don't have to pull the fuses just turn off all electrical; radio, auto lights, and climate control.

You can +/- line pressure to a small extent with your Xcal.

I had Torrie turn down the line pressure on my daily tune because I drive in a lot of stop and go traffic and was just to harsh. I kept it brisk form my 2nd tune and full out for a track tune. Torrie did a great job for me.

Wrong, its been removed, Ill take a better quality video with my camera sometime soon, cell phone one sucks.

Last time I tried uploading a tune the battery drained just enough for it to not start so just pre-caution.

This tune is going to be for track/racing use only so the line pressure isnt an issue as a daily driver. I have it turned up all the way from the first tune, gonna go upload the new one right now cause it wasnt enough.
 
Using Torrie's tune even for a daily driver will improved the throttle by wire response by getting rid of the hesitation which I felt was dangerous at times, and a move positive shifts, you might want to consider this option.

I for one would like to see your video of the removed rev limiter in neutral/park, you well be the first for the Lincoln LS, that means Torrie finally figured it out.
 
The issue was the electronic throttle right? I'm thinking maybe he removed the limiter, but it will still climb slowly up, just go past 3K now?

so that the fan doesn't drain the battery while the tune is in the process of being loaded since you car has to sit there with the ignition turned on BUT not running.
