I've been checking my coolant levels daily and they seem to be staying put when I got it back from the mechanic he had it in the middle between low and high so I topped it off. Now today I go to check and it's a little lower but I've noticed it takes very long to get cold. It's been parked for about 3 hours and it's about 80 degrees outside and it's still not cold it's still in between low and normal temp. My question is should it take that long to cool down or is something odd, I want to check the coolant levels but right now coolant is still above the cold fill high line because it's still warm?

Yes, it takes a long time (over night) for the shutdown engine to cool down to ambient temperature. This is how it should be, and is normal for nearly all cars.
As long as the level stays at or above cold-fill, you are good.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will be keeping an eye on it for the next few days, on to different mods now that cooling is sorted out.
