it has the 3.9 V8.
It's a 2005 so it's a gen 2...
Oddball green with tan interior. Heated and cooled seats, SST, normal stuff.
well there has been one on the first page for a better part of a week now, it even has "Double din installation" in the title. its pretty complete and even though its on a 1st gen, 95% is the exact same and the minor differences are easy see and do (really only the first panel that comes off and the shape of the plug...)ive searched but haven't found a thread about installing a double din receiver in a 2005. Is there a good one?
... ive searched but havent found a thread about installing a double din receiver ...
I did not know I had the 'premium' sport til now. Cool!
Not on the console, but everywhere else, plus moonroof...
Okay. I really can't see the moonroof in the exterior picture that you posted.
I'm a little confused about the double din question too. You already have an aftermarket double din. Are you just wanting to swap it for something else? If so, then almost all of the work has already been done for you.
Agreed is this guy trolling or what? The photos of the car in the photobucket links he provided definitely show the car not having a moonroof or a double din..
I guess it makes sense that the premium sport would have the wood on the shifter and wheel while the regular sport would be leather. I thought the '06's were the only thing to get the silver dash parts (other than the center stack), the earlier ones were either wood grain or black.
What's the link to the VIN decoder?
That was why i asked which thread was best to follow. I didnt know that the 2002 was the same as the 2005. Plus ive read threads here that said there are 3 or 4 different stereo systems in these cars. So it doesnt matter which system i have?
Well, the 02 is different than the 05 (over 500 changes), but it is pretty similar in terms of the radio. You will want the silver double din adapter instead of the black one. The wiring harnesses that you need are different, and removal is the lower trim is a little different.
