I'm about to order the parts for the jmod and accumulator upgrade.
I used this page as a guide for part numbers:
http://www.tccoa.com/articles/tranny/transmission/d96.jpg
However I thought it isn't necessary to do the reverse and OD servos, am I right?
So are the only things I need to buy: 1-2 accumulator piston, 1-2 lower spring, 1-2 upper spring, 2-3 accumulator piston, the two separator plate gaskets, and the pan filter? Thats 7 items, is there anything else?
I read most people leave the 2-3 spring out.
Also the drill specs on that link only say 300-450, is this what I want to drill to? I'm looking for firm shifts, maybe chirping tires at WOT (dont really mind) but want the shifts soft enough in normal driving so that they dont bother my passengers.
Finally I'm going to buy a trans cooler. I was thinking of the B&M 70264 (http://store.summitracing.com/partd...400004+4294888847+4294906626+115&autoview=sku)
because some other people posted it. Is this one strong enough for my car or do I need something better?
Thanks in advance.
