Jbl amp/ speakers

NO BEEN SITTING SINCE THANKSGIVING. ive tried to contact you several times when i had the money but tou never repliedive looked everywhere, here lod, other sites jbl, crutchfield , google, etc and cant get any info on the amp output or channels or the speakers and watt handling i have 2 pioneer 6" 3way speakers rated at peak 350w. rms 60 i figure theyre fine just didnt feel like running new wires from stereo nobody can give me a straight answer

I'd just leave the factory stuff in there if all you have is a couple 6.5" coaxials. Not worth the trouble for what will end up being no improvement in sound.

My guess is that the factory amp has about 50rms to split between 2 sets of factory components, while enough to produce sound out of the Pioneers the xover setting will throw everything off. The speakers are hooked up in an odd way which would only make it more difficult to sound good.

When I first got mine 7 or so years ago I played with aftermarket speakers and they all sounded like dooky hooked up the the oem amp.

I'll post a diagram once I get home. You can also get wiring adapters that'll send line level (rca type) to the factory amp.

my last mark i took the rear speakers out and put the same pioneer speakers in, but they were 50 rms/ 150 max and were a major improvement.i have a kicker box with dual 12
' in trunk with 1600rms/ 2000 max that pounds the stock interior speakers sound ok but anything is better than a 16 year old paper cone speaker. one person i spoke to said the jbl F3lf 18C807 aa amp was 8 channel 700watt use between 96-98 on premium jbl systems in ford products but couldnt be sure because of overlap in features corresponding to last two letters, aa, ca,fa and ccwhich all look the same and were used in all mark series but couldnt give me any speaker specifics. the rear quarter had a 6x8 and a 3 or 4" round speaker what looked to be mid or sub which i removed and wired the pioneer to the wires from 6 x 8.i think its a 8 channel 8 ohm per output but like i said i couldnt get astraight (or the same answer) anyways. theres one also on ebay that says 700 watt factory mark viii jbl amp i just dont know. the car is still sitting waiting for motor or better deal it will cost 400 to switch my hand controls to something new and tax, tag, title is another 250-300 so ive got to figure that in whatever i do

C451 is to the front/rear woofers (right and left front+rear woofers are tied together)
C452 is for the front and rear tweeters (each tweeter is separate channel)
C453 is the input from the radio.

Personally, I'm going to simply install new wiring. I have a nice pair of component speakers for the front, and a nice set of coaxials for the rear. They will have their own amp.
