Hello Jag S-Type cousins. I have a 2003 S-Type R (4.2 s/c) that needs a new EGR tube. I understand many parts are interchangeable between the S and LS. Is the EGR tube interchangeable too? Would be nice in that the Lincoln EGR tube is 1/2 the $. Appreciate a quick response to get her back into shape (CEL w/ "Restricted Performance").

A bit about her: Achebono ceramic brake pads, H&R Sport lowering springs, 285 series in the rear (275 is stock), K&N drop-in panel a/f, 4" aluminum powder coated air intake tube, low temp. thermostat, 3 lb. pulley (13 lb stock, now 16 lbs. boost), Magnaflow: hi-flow cats, x-pipe, and 14" resonators to Borlas, 4" s/s oval tips. Estimated hp and trq.: 460 hp @ 500 lb/ft trq. Est. 0-60: 4.5 sec. Est. 1/4 mile: 12.6 seconds.

Keep up the excellent work Lincoln LS owners.

Sorry I can't answer your question.

I can't swear to it, but I think that they are different. I know that the coolant outlet at the front of the engine is different, and I think that makes the throttle body different or in a slightly different place. I think that would alter the EGR tube.
Maybe you could post pictures of that area of yours...

Thanks Joe. I agree with you that they are likely different, so I went ahead and ordered an OEM (Jag) EGR tube w/gaskets ($150 includes shipping). Thank you and be well Lincoln LS.
