I have a ?? it's not a big deal but just curious... would the outside temp cause a misfire?... the reason I'm asking is cause for the past few days here in Denver my 97' Mark is acting weird... when it's sunny out it runs perfectly fine... once the sun goes down it starts to rumble and shake a little... it through a code a couple days ago... misfire on cyl 5... but then after a day of sun it went away... then the sun went down again... it's crazy... I've been watching the outside temp and it's about a 10 degree drop... so from about 40 to 30-20... thanks guys!

Hmmm, I am in Wisconsin, and it was -17 the other day, my 94 Mark started right up, and ran like a top! Sorry, Im not a mechanic, but my Mark has been fine in the cold-

yeah when its cold outside it happens to mine too,and when summer is here and i start it up....no problemo!... im curious as well

well........id check cyl #5. swap the plug with cyl #6 and the coil to cyl #7, and see if the miss moves.

Yeah I'm gonna do that when it warms up... might just go and buy a new set of coils this summer just to alleviate the possibilities... I should probably do the wires also... but yeah... it runs great when it's warm but in the cold it's chuggin.. even when it's warmed up... just curious what could be causing it

uh 97 doesn't have wires just the coil over plugs (cop) and the boots that should come with new coils

well the ignition wires yeah I know... but still wondering why it's so different just cause of the weather

Well, I spoke way too soon! My 94 is chugging too now, and I am not sure as to why- It seems like it is missing, running on less cylinders--I had a mechanic put in new spark plugs today, (what a rip off by the way, $215!!) and still no difference. Any suggestions?
