I've seen it at 127..... but it was only 103 ouside. It was sitting in th sun and after driving for a bit it went down to the 103 mark. but damn 111..... I'd kill myself!

FYI, the high in Phoenix, AZ yesterday was 114...120 in Death Valley!

But it's a "dry heat".

The other week when we had the heat wave it was around the upper 90's but the real feel was above 100.

I prefer it dry but I'm fine with the humidity.

I have no clue why. I would always rather be hot then cold. We plan on moving out west before the kids hit school.

I'm the opposite. If it gets cold, I can always add layers. If it gets too hot, well there's only so many layers you can take off... without getting in trouble.

i was in Phoenix last weekend. It was 109 but like you said, it's a dry heat and we were in the pool the whole day until about 11pm w/ the water still being warm

I was in Pomona yesterday and apparently it was 118. At 9PM last night it was 100. I love SoCal.
