I have codes
u0501:86-28 (Possibly the rear door module on the passengers side)
Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) or Cross-Traffic Alert (CTA) System Warning Message with Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) U049A or U0501 – 2013 Ford Fusion & Lincoln MKZ | Ford
and
b118D:15-0A (blind spot monitor passengers side)

If the rear door module is bad on that side of the car would it prevent the blind spot system from working on that side of the car? I bought a replacement blind spot module to have if needed in the end but I was thinking it was possible the rear door module would prevent it from working in the first place.

I was able to update the calibration files on the rear door module and that u0501:86-28 code went away. However, I was not able to get rid of that other one so I assume now it's just a bad module.
