Is this "over-steer"?

My '97 at freeway speed has very quick and sensitive steering and I find myself constantly making corrections in both directions.
I have strutmaster front and rear shocks installed. It's been aligned and "strutrod"?? bushings replaced.
Any irregularity in the road surface sends the car in a slightly unfriendly direction.
Any input appreciated.

Your variable resistance steering may not be working.
Also look at the aliment specs make sure it has the high side positive castor and it's toed in properly at least imo
This is also assuming all parts an the car are in good shape

I would suggest taking the vehicle to a reputible shop for a full suspension inspection.

You could try disconnecting the steering speed sensor first and see if that changes your issue.

If the vehicle is still "darty" with the sensor disconnected... then the suspension (or steering rack) is worn out somewhere.

And no... you are not experiencing oversteer.

Oversteer is when the backend of the car tries to "come around on you" through a turn/curve.

In contrast... understeer is when the front end of car "plows" through turns... not wanting to take the curve/turn.
