Let me say, this is a pain in the ass trying to do this. I have the number one piston at tdc, checked multiple times before I put the heads on. Have the crank stop on, so it doesn't move also. Everything in the chiltons manual (cobra one), I have looked over, to make sure the primary gear marks, are in the correct position. The timing links are where they are supposed to be, but one is just a tad off (crank gear), does this matter? First, is the right primary gear, second is the crank gear, and third is the left primary gear.

Looks to me like you're one tooth off on the crankshaft sprocket.

It certainly does matter the car may run fine one tooth off but it will feel like it has no balls you have to get it dead nuts or it's gonna drive you nuts!

DEFINATLY 1 tooth off. You should fix that. I put oversizes cams in a car, and not knowing I was a tooth off. I bent all the intake valves.
