I thought that the fog lights look a little smaller on some gen2 lse' than on others. Check it out. The silver one is an 04 lse and the red one is an 06.The 04 seems to have little fog light holes.

Pretty sure that silver one just has unlit area around it (near the perimeter you can see it).

the Red LS has the entire reflecting bowl lit.

There is no difference between 04,05 LSE bumpers and the bumper that came on the 06. They are all the 2nd Gen LSE bumper.

Lincoln Luebbe, do you have a picture of your ride with the 4300k fogs? How does it light up the road?

I had just turned them on in this pic so they were still a little blue...

Here's one with the low beams and the fogs. It's a perfect match once they both reach temperature, the photos can be deceiving.

I don't really feel that fog lights really light up the road a whole lot. But they are brighter than the halogens. This may sound sarcastic but I don't mean it that way...I would compare the difference in the fogs to the difference between halogens low beams and HID low beams. Once you have had HID it is really hard to go back.
Originally I was debating doing the fogs on my LS so I took one of the 4300K HID bulb and ballast system off of my wife's MKX to see how it would look with one HID and one halogen...
It only took a matter of seconds and I was sold!
I will usually just run my fogs during the day and until it gets dark. It really looks good with color matched bulbs!

What color is the first? Is the first pic hids or one of those halogen hid look alikes.I like the white look more then the blue one.

Thanks for the pictures man, i appreciate it.

I like it a lot, it matches perfectly. I normally drive with the fogs on too until it starts to get really dark out. I thought about putting HIDs in the fogs but wasn't sure if i' was going to like it. Now i do.

BTW, very nice car.

EDIT- Alax, i hope i am not hijacking your thread.

Alax all 4300K HIDs look bluish for about 10-20 seconds until they reach temperature. The first pic is when I first turned the fogs on. The second pic is seconds later with my stock HID headlights on. Same 4300K HID kit, not the halogens with blue covering on them.

Check this out for an idea of the difference... Compare the color at about 11 seconds with about 27 seconds. It looks like he flashes his brights in the middle of the clip, but trust me (I have had stock and non-stock HID systems) all HIDs change their color once they reach temperature.

No worries man, its all good. I like it too. I"m getting HID headlights real soon, want to match the fogs and later on get an lse bumper. I love how the ls looks with matched hids. DEAD SEXY.

Got it. Thanks for the video.
