Is it worth it?

Is it worth driving 200 miles to pick up a used Magnaflow exhaust system for $150? Condition looks to be about a 6 out of 10. Will need some welding, but I would imagine since the majority is made of SS, it should be OK?????

I've been watching that one on Ebay for a few months.

I'm in the same boat as you, 200 miles 1 way for me.

As of right now it's not worth it, but if it was a bit closer I would have gotten it already.

That sure looks like a stock system with Magnaflow mufflers. Definitely. IMHO, NOT worth the ~$80 in gas alone!

for a 400 mile round trip, your way better off to just buy two brand new mufflers, cut yours off, and have the new ones welded on (since that is exactly what they did)

I've almost emailed them and asked them to do that, cut the mufflers and tips off and send it my way, scrap the rest of it.

I have bought items from them, they are pretty good folks.

Make sure they use stainless to weld it or you'll end up with the rusty mess they did! I guess a good high-temp paint would also prevent rust...
