Is it worth it?

KBB only has it for $7275. Its nice but doesn't seem that worth it unless you really have some collector mindset
 
He or she may take your offer especially if they tried to trade it in and got the shock of what a dealer would give them on a trade in. Looks like a great looking car, good luck.:)
 
I've seen this car is person. It's definitely up there in condtion. It's a $9k car anyday.

By offering $6800 you're only hurting yourself. You're bringing down the value of a mark 8 in general.

I say its an $8000 car tops! If its as mint as he says it is!
 
I really do love Mark VIIIs, but I wouldn't buy one for that price unless it was coming from a stealership, with a MASSIVE warranty backing it up. For the same price, you could take a slightly beat-up Mark and restore it to near-mint condition yourself!
 
I checked the old bank account today, I got 7500 to work with. I emailed him to see if I could go look at it. If it's as clean as he/she says it is I might make a offer. But I've been wondering if the airbags/bushings might already need to be replaced from lack of use, and also 4.6's get bad valve seal from sitting, atleast I know this happens on 2 vavle models. But for 7500 and another 4 or 5 for mods and I'm around 12. I figure a good 2 or 3 thousand one and mods I can stay under 7500. I wouldn't mind fixin something up.
Then again if I see it and fall in love with it I have to get it. I'll post a couple other fixer uppers on here if you guys don't mind, just to get some thoughts if you think they would be a good start or not.
