Well I bought myself some new shoes and ran into a minor bump... The end of the CV shaft sticks out and I cant put my center cap on... Can I cut the end off? Also my caliper bracket just barely touches the hub of the wheel so I bought the brackets for a cobra rear brake swap.

No problems with the fronts.

you can cut the end of that shaft it wont hurt it. just try and do it clean so if you ever take the nut off it will clean the threads as it comes off so you can put it back on.

you can always get spacers, it doesnt look like you need much to get it to clear. otherwise you can cut it but i'd get a dye for it so you can clean up the threads to get the nut off.

honestly they are so cheap that if you ever need to get the nut off, replace the whole axle shafts!

When you take the nut off as long as you bevel the whole outer edge it should do the cleaning of the threads for you!

I'm jealous, the FR500's are my favorite wheels...

Thanks :) my goal was to be the first with fr500s on it. I was bummed when cjpony parts only had chrome and black chrome for 05+ (I wanted antracite with a polished lip)
